The first Indians landed in South Africa in 1860, hence the name of our restaurant. The traditional cooking they brought with them soon started to evolve in isolation bringing local influences and making use of what was readily available. Dishes such as the great favourite, the Bunny Chow, our signature dish, started to appear.
